3 WAYS TO GRIP THE CLUB

Typically we always have heard that you need to start with a neutral(1.5 knuckles of the top hand), and then your ball flight will tell you whether that needs to change to a weaker(no knuckles of the top hand visible when you look down) or go stronger(turned to the right with 2-3 knuckles visible).
Now the consequences of these adjustments can changes the look of the takeaway, the top of the swing and the transition. Well in my own experience, the grip can change a ball flight with a consistent body action and can in fact negate the typical results.
Its not too much of a stretch to say that the rules of thumb aren't rules for everyone. Look at the hall of fame, there are a hundred ways to strike it well enough to score.
As my first blog post I just want to let you know that there is no right way. Just the right way for you. The ball will tell you and your score will too.
In my mind I've seen many swings du jour have strong grips and draw it(Daniel Berger, Zach Johnson), and on weekend coverage we've all seen Dustin Johnson play both draws and fades from a similar grip.
On the flip side we've see Jack and Tiger have neutral grips and hit all the shots. And on the weaker side we've seen the great Ben Hogan.
So who's got it right? All of em'. - Flea Trevino
